A cool little rarity for this month's "Bandcamp Friday"
27th June 2012 Dean went into the studio to try and record this song in a few hours! Here is the original Mix/Master provided by the studio after the session was finished that day. We went on to tinker with it some ourselves back at Fist HQ before it was finally released on the "From a Point of Existence" album later that year so this "initial" version has previously been unheard/unreleased...until now.
This version is a lot less dense of a mix that appears on the final album, with no harmonies or guitar overdubs. The vocals were done quickly at the end of the day and the entire song was mixed in the final hour of the studio session... certainly not a "finished" track but a fine testament of what can be accomplished with in a few hours, even with a hangover, and has somewhat of a more "wide" and "open" quality than the one that ended up on the album!
