Sacrament 07:04
Sacrament (Marsh) The flame that burns me, keeps me warm To cradle the burdens, that I have worn The wound that pains me, the thorn in my side Feeds on my envy and eats at my pride Sacrament; the fire is breaking their bodies Sacrament; their eyes staring out from the grave Sacrament; the night-child is tearing their eyes out to see Say a sacrament for me Sacrament for me... A time unwinding, the sands falling low Tumbling beneath me, my destiny foretold The embers are burning, the flames rising high Flickering around me, they’re burning me alive! Sacrament; the fire is breaking their bodies Sacrament; their eyes staring out from the grave Sacrament; the night-child is tearing their eyes out to see Say a sacrament for me Sacrament for me... Woah-Woah! Halleluiah (Amen-amen!) You take the poison, you feel the pain You take the poison, but you’ll not live again You take the poison, (take the poison), you feel the pain You take the poison, but you’ll not live again You take the poison, (take the poison) you feel the pain You take the poison, but you’ll not live again Not live again, not live again, no, no! The lie everlasting, the serpent tongue of old The scales that drip with snake oil You’ve sold another soul! The tail that feeds the hunger; ouroboros divine The venom in your blood-flow, it’s poisoning your mind! Sacrament; the fire is breaking their bodies Sacrament; their eyes staring out from the grave Sacrament; the night-child is tearing their eyes out to see Save a sacrament for me! It’s tearing their bodies away! Sacrament; the night child is tearing their eyes out to see Save a sacrament for me!

Widdershins 13:32
Widdershins (Bell, Marsh) Turning sunwise, feel the change on the breeze Ghosts in your eyes, tear you down to your knees Heavens turning, clouds that break and then die Glow reversing, from the earth unto the sky and stars Father’s footsteps, followed you, “step this this way” voices whisper, to paths already paved Lonely churchyard, there’s a sign don’t you know? Choked in ivy; points the way to the road within but you know that it leads widdershins Standing on a frozen beach Waves that roar and chase the thunder Somewhere in my memories Dry my eyes, don’t pull me under Crack the air and break the dawn A wisp glows through the storm; Feel the wind and rain... Sunset, following the tides We’re sailing from left to right Change! As long as you forget To turn from right to left Change! Following the tides We’re sailing from left to right Change! As long as you forget to turn from right to left Left upon the open sea Place my hand upon the compass Moon descending in the east Track the turns of dying tempests Tear my heart and rush the shore Fighting through it all Time to make the change... Eastern sunrise, clockwork in rewind Weary on my eyes... Needles inside, point where the path lies Turning in my mind, don’t know how to navigate... Deafening silence, scan the horizon Chasing out my time, don’t know where the truth begins Drifting far from home... Widdershins! Widdershins! You know the tide is turning! The sun is rising in the western sky (Turning widdershins!) The moon a mistress to the ebbing tide Silent thunder, oh it calls you home Nature breaks her promise; changing winds upon us The cave that haunts you springs from your dreams (Turning widdershins!) A premonition of uncertain means Take me, to shore again What’s that path I followed where the ivy led? Winding outwards, talking without words Choosing the wrong side... Course grows narrow, straight as an arrow Turn against the tide, won’t return this way again A warning in the air... Sunset, following the tides We’re sailing from left to right Change! As long as you forget To turn from right to left Change! Following the tides We’re sailing from left to right Change! As long as you forget To turn from right to left... And turn from life to death...

The Haruspex 08:26
The Haruspex (Marsh) Now tamed in vision, lives forecast By echoed lines of words once passed Once caught the current, stretched in time We bathed in stars to drink your wine When open sails, they seized the sun Caught solar winds to kingdom come My air a ruin of your mind Now drift away, you’re lost in time... Awake is the night, alive is the song Can you hear me on the wind? Sail away with me, my love again, Pray your heart will not give in And my children sing their songs above, Say their charm is not enough, Sail away with me, my love again Is eternity not a game we all play? Beyond horizons, spirits yearn For ghostly ports of no return A spectral vision shrouds the way The harbourmaster takes his pay From eyes, your coin, it tricks him twice The tune begins; a devil’s prize And the river sings her song, What cannot kill you makes you strong... Awake is the night, alive is the song Can you hear me on the wind? Sail away with me, my love again, Pray your heart will not give in And my children sing their songs above, Say their charm is not enough, Sail away with me, my love again Is eternity not a game we all... ...play in the night to dance in the sun Read my future and my past Sail away with me, my love again Lash your hands unto the mast Through my fingers pour time’s raging flood Will the river take me home? Sail away with me, my love again ‘cause eternity is the game, we all know...

Dreamcatcher 05:24
Dreamcatcher (Bell, Marsh) The world is fading Mother spider’s waiting And she weaves her dreams around your bed Hesitating, by the threads light waning As the shards of night are now ensnared Leave its safety every day Let me close my eyes All these dreams you caught Are just nightmares of mine Shhh... Purifying, all the Fireflies dying Caught in fibres fraying from the dawn Eyes an anvil, now the web entangled As the grey mist seeps from every yawn We leave its safety every day Let me close my eyes All these dreams we shared Are just nightmares of mine And then the curtain falls A childhood’s play performing You - recall your lines; they’ve changed And now the stage-light burns to... ...wake me! Fall to your knees! Throw the shutters open wide Daybreak bathe my mind... In sleep... Who plays my part? Who breaks my heart? Mother spider, web’s on fire, Mother spider...

Wisp 06:56
Wisp (Marsh, Ewen) Twisting, turning, breaking, burning Extinguished light... Breaking, waking, sinking, shaking It springs to life... Breathing, screaming, shrieking, deceiving The agony thrives... Breaking, burning, twisting, turning And so it begins... Never mind the light, the world is circling, resting on the tide The falling embers on the breeze – the eyes that haunt me I never wanted that old fear, cold and lonely – feel surrounded Although I feel it’s wrong, something inside is crying out for more Crying out for more! Your mind is not your own, stricken, tired, your face torn the bone You throw your heart asunder; stoke the fire you’re craving It’s just a seed demonic, it’s a ride and you are on it I don’t know where you are, but something tells me you have strayed too far Take what you will, while the time stands still Take what you will, for the whispering of the reeds, It’s called the wisp... And now the lights are gone, glance behind the darkness is your home I caught the starlight in the breeze, my grasp betrayed me And now the fear is haunting, wished for life – it feeds now on me A stranger in a land my father hid away from me so very far... Take what you will, while the time stands still Take what you will, for the whispering of the reeds, It’s called the wisp... Wispy-willow-wispy-man has wished you down the drain, He bought you for a bargain, now your life is not the same The world is full of dark things and his light is just to blame Oh, wispy-willow-wispy-man has wished you down the drain! Upside down and inside out and spinning all around You’re paying for your penance but no pennies could be found Trying just to navigate, and trying to be sane You’ve wished the wispy-willow-man down the drain! Take what you will, while the time stands still Take what you will, for the whispering of the reeds, It’s called the wisp, it’s called the wisp...

Man of Signs 08:21
Man of Signs (Marsh, Bell, Severn) Some men fear it, some men run Bought your future, now it’s gone Saturn falling; the seed of Mars Voices calling, from the Earth unto the Stars... Chase the morning, kill the Sun The sky was falling But the Earth was young Chase the morning to kill the Sun The Man of Signs, you know your day is done... Break the nightfall, bewitch the Moon The ground was rising But we woke too soon Chase the morning, kill that Sun Oh, Man of Signs you know your day is done... All that’s written, all that’s gone Steal the vision; time to run The hanged-man smiling, The Queen of Hearts Darkness rising, from the Earth unto the Stars...

Witchmonger 04:18
Witchmonger (Marsh, Bell, Ewen) Speak to me Witchmonger Tell me what new have you learned? Are the maids now in the courtyard, watching distant fires burn? And the flame of words – it warms you Do you know what you have done? Are the children raising torches to your song? I walk (and it follows) I run (and it follows) I hide (and it follows me) Follows me always! I sleep (and it follows) I dream (and it follows) I die and (it follows me) Follows me always... (Burn the witch, burn the witch!) Take back control... (Burn the witch, burn the witch!) Time for change... (Burn the witch, burn the witch!) Stop the vote... (Burn the witch, burn the witch!) Lock him up... (Burn the witch, burn the witch!) That’s fake news... (Burn the witch, burn the witch!) It’s all a joke... What should we do with the truths, Witchmonger? What should we do with the truth? And who did you choose to speak it for you? What should we do with these truths from you? Speak to me Witchmonger Tell me what news is your word? Will you follow your own breadcrumbs, as you sing now from your perch? And the neon screens they warm you Change your avatar and run Does your real face show the world what you have done? (Walk away, I walk, I walk!) I walk (and it follows) I run (and it follows) I hide (and it follows me) Follows me always! (Walk away, I walk, I sleep!) I sleep (and it follows) I dream (and it follows) I die and (it follows me) Follows me always... (Walk away, I’m blind, I sleep!) I sleep (and it follows) I dream (and it follows) I die and (it follows...) When you talk do they listen? Are they following your lead? Is the fear that’s driving us just words we heed? Now you’re standing in the crowd And directing our gaze, Are we looking for the rest to feel afraid? And no, you can’t drown out the noise And you know it will not change When they’re hiding from the rats Caught in the maze Still you’re standing in the crowd And still holding our gaze But we’re still burning Witches in your flames...

Cave 19:45
Cave (Marsh, Bell, Severn, Farish) Born in chains; all face the wall Figures dance and play The fire flickers, shadows fall A theatre of our lives again Don’t turn your eyes, The mannequin of flame absolves The lady on the river, She cracked the mirror for us all Watch the shadow puppets play Where the figures never change And the light remains the same You watched the shadow puppets play Though figures never changed Stoke the fire for the puppets of the cave Escape from the shadows But the light will blind your eyes Crawl back to the darkness Scream that what you see is lies! You climb, the air grows strong The sunset bathes your mind Reflections on the water A mirror of a world deprived Watch the shadow puppets play Where the figures never change And the light remains the same You watched the shadow puppets play Though figures never changed Stoke the fire for the puppets of the cave Follow the lines, see them forging on ahead Fires they will die and the sun will set Focus your mind, compass set now to your death When you read from the walls of the cave Magpies, mirrors, maids of brides Cracks in pavements, cat’s nine lives Lucky horseshoes, rabbit paws Heather hanging on our doors And would you stir up widdershins? Carve the witch-post cross as the fire dims? Close the window to the sparrow-call The man you passed on the stairs wasn’t there at all Idle hands do Devil’s bidding Scent of burning sage leaves ridding homesteads of the evil souls who cast their shadows in the cold Close the door to gypsy’s warning Red sky at dawn to curse the morning Ere the toll bell eerie rings And would you stir up widdershins? ...would you stir up widdershins? ...would you stir up widdershins? Blessed by change; the journey ends The brave new world begins A crusade to delusion To break these chains all over again Sanctum of the sermon But the Priest has scarred his eyes The flock turn to accusers Then you see they’re really wolves inside Watch the shadow puppets play Where the figures never change And the light remains the same You watched the shadow puppets play Though figures never changed Stoke the fire for the puppets of the cave Prisoner: Here the fire keeps us warm Escapee: ...The flame has charred your backs Prisoner: The world exists upon these walls Escapee: ...A chasm filled with cracks Both: What is true is real to me, and what is real is true Your vision filled with storms and grey, just waiting to break through Prisoner: Your eyes are hollowed by the sun Escapee: ...The sun has set me free Prisoner: Only fools renounce this home Escapee: ...I’ll show you, follow me! Both: What is pain is love to you, and what is life to me? But growing shades against the wall, and fading memories? Let the shadow puppets play Where the figures never change And the light remains the same Let the shadow puppets play Though figures never change Stoke the fire for the puppets of the cave Let the shadow puppets play Where the figures never change And the light remains the same Let the shadow puppets play Though figures they won’t change See your world, is just shadows in a cave
